My husband and I stopped by Aunt Marie's while strolling through Kennebunkport. He had the clam chowder, which he loved, and I had the cheese sandwich, which I loved. Win win.

We weren't particularly seeking out ice cream when we first went to Kennebunkport, but The Clam Shack gave a buy one get one free coupon to Aunt Marie's for ice cream so we figured we would stop by. This made the prices very favorable (under $5 for 2 cups of ice cream). There were probably about 10 different flavors offered here, but we had the Moose Tracks and Summer Berry Crunch - both great flavors. Only downside is the limited seating here.

So we went here for the first time to have ice cream. We both got the peanut butter pie, which was very good. The regular size was 2 decent size scoops of ice cream. The next time we went my boyfriend had the lobster roll and I had the hot dog. The lobster roll tasted really good, the lobster meat is from the clam shack. It's a decent price and if you are looking just for a small roll to hold you over, this is the place to go. I had the cheese hot dog with ketchup and onions. Not the best hot dog I've ever had, but still tasted good. Cute little place, you might miss it if you aren't playing attention.

Cute little window serving a variety of foods typical to Kennebunkport. Seemed like everyone we saw there when we were there was coming over from the Clam Shack where they (and we) received a 2 for 1 coupon for ice cream (which is $4 and change). So... if you find yourself at Clam Shack, you very well may find yourself here for some 2 for 1 ice cream.

Black rasberry regular cone and the campfire s'mores regular cone.
In the heat of summer I should have gotten the black raspberry cone instead because that was so much more refreshing than my super heavy campfire smores cone...both delicious but would definitely go for the fruity ice cream next time around!
This place is tucked between a few stores so it's easy to miss but honestly it was so hot we just followed the crowd of people that were walking around with cones and found it! Hehehehe
